Thanks to many of you, the Panther Club raised $1,411 through the Drive For Schools Fundraiser.
Half of this money will be giving to the school to spend on continued technology upgrades. The other half will go directly into class accounts. For those of you who bought tickets, the prize drawing will be held at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk on Sunday, October 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. —Thanks, Melissa

THIS IS NO ORDINARY FUNDRAISER!!!

There is no cost to our school to participate.
Our school keeps EVERY PENNY it collects!

SLVMS has once again been invited by Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and The Capitola Auto Mall to participate in the annual car give away fundraiser - Drive For Schools!

This year the Grand Prize will be a brand new Toyota Prius or Subaru Outback (including tax and license)! If the winner is not in the market for a new car, they will be awarded $25,000 cash instead! There will be MANY other smaller prizes awarded as well.

 

Tickets will be sold for $5 each or a pack of 6 for $25.There are 3 different groups selling tickets this yea:  The Drama Department, Music Boosters and the 8th Grade Class.



THE DETAILS

Ticket sales will begin Friday, September 23rd.

TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED by contacting one of the department coordinators listed below.

Cash will be accepted, but checks are preferred. Please make checks out to “Panther Club”.

If you would like to “check out” a large amount of tickets for you or your student to sell at an event, in front of a store, in front of the school office afterschool, etc.…please send an e-mail directly to your grade coordinator to request tickets. Your coordinator will work with you to set up a pick up time and location that works for both of you.
Students can sell tickets to whomever they choose, however participants have been asked to avoid “stepping on other school’s turf”. Winners do not need to be present to win so sales may be made to anyone!

The last day to purchase/sell tickets is THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18TH. All ticket stubs and money made from “checked out” tickets, must be turned in to your grade coordinator on or before Thursday, October 18th as well.
